# Spawn Chrome instances

Right after starting the CLI, you have the option to choose "Spawn Chrome Instances" as second available action.

This will **automatically open every Chrome user** on your computer that has a [**shortcut for mirror mode defined**](/getting-started/shortcuts.md)**!**

In your [settings.json](https://docs.pepperscripts.com/getting-started/cli/pages/-M_XOszXGomxz7135gcR#the-settings.json) file, you find a line called "Spawn Limit".

Here you can define how many Chrome instances the CLI should **spawn as a maximum**.

{% hint style="info" %}
For example if you leave the default number of 10, the CLI will spawn 10 Chrome instances, even if you have a shortcut defined in 15 Chrome instances. However, if the limit is at 10 and you have a shortcut defined in only 5 instances, the CLI will only open 5 instances.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pepperscripts.com/getting-started/cli/spawn-chrome-instances.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
